Swine Flu/ Influenza A (H1N1)

Omg.... until yesterday i only realize this DEADLY and currently NO CURE virus flu that spreading around worldwide. Is call the swine flu, the flu/virus from pig family.


Before i start explaining what Swine Flu is, or how to prevent it, let me explain how SERIOUS its now. SWINE FLU IS PHASE 5 NOW. Sickness, flu and virus is been categorized into 6 levels of warning system, from level 1, the not so serious, to the max, level 6 - pandemic.





Let me remind you, SARS that last for 8 month is only PHASE 3. The report say it swine flu could be as serious as the "Spanish Flu", which occur during 1918/1919 that kill 50~100 MILLION people worldwide.





Swine Flu currently still don't have a direct cure/confirm vaccine to it. I believe they are using the medicine for SARS to treat the infected client.





Actually all these information is from my brother. So what should you do now? i mean what we CAN do is... prevent and prepare for the WORST. Probably lot of people will think is the flu will not spread here because mexico is very far from here.... WRONG. The Flu is in Asia NOW.


Metro Park Hotel in Hong Kong has been quarantined.



Try to avoid crowded places, because swine flu is spread like normal flu human to human- sneeze, conversation.


It can be veryyyyy serious if is reach phase 6, so prepare yourself, go buy mask NOW, because i went to buy mask yesterday and most of them is out of stock... and raised in price too. Buy some food supply and medical supply to store at home.

I am not very sure what is this about, because is in french = =. But probably is a website where you can find someone is going to IKEA too, by posting your own details whether you are passenger or driver, so you can meet up with them go happy happy go IKEA buy things lo~

Everyone know that IKEA is selling furniture, but now selling car too?


roulez-leko.com is the French website that explain briefly what is LEKO with a countdown timer. Too bad i cant understand what Christophe Grazs(designer) talking about.


If you look at the countdown timer, it still have 5 days plus.. which mean it will reveal between 31 march and 1 April... oh ho.. don't tell me is a joke from April fools, would IKEA make a big prank like this...?


Anyway, there is a "WWF" logo there, so it probably gonna be environmental friendly. So, lets just wait 5 more days to see this green car from IKEA.

A pink bottlenose dolphin has been spotted in Louisiana. While experts believe that this dolphin is an albino or an oddly mutated specimen.

Dumb

News from last year... i mean, few day ago.


Fairfield Township, Ohio,
A 17 years old teenager was arrested on Dec 29, Monday for threatening suicidal with a representative of a video game company.


HAHA?? Ok, this is so dumbbbbb, let me explain the whole story. This guy was playing WoW (World of Warcraft), a famous multiplayer online game on 29 dec, and he was text chatting with the representative of the Blizzard company, maybe the gm. But the conversation went wrong after this guy say "he was suicidal and that the game is the only thing he has to live for......"


The Blizzard employee straight away called 911. The police came, he was handcuffed and placed in a patrol car.... busted. He told the police he was joking and just try to get what he wanted from the game. But.... too late~ This guy is scheduled to appear in Butler County Juvenile court on Jan 6, Tues.





Now you can see how serious it can be when joking... next time dont play play o~

Recently Sony posted a teaser on New Zealand site about announcing the New VAIO on 9 January 09.





The 1st picture stated this, "you will change the way you look at laptops". hmm... by looking at the 2nd picture, its look more like a netbook or PDA to me. Its look like ultra thin and light weight, and i wonder why its a rectangle shape? How is the screen look like and where is the keyboard? Oh well, maybe is like mobile phone nowadays, touch screen like iPhone or a tablet.





Sony has taken down the teaser webpage for dont know what reason. But if you can read japanese and you have an Sony Shop ID, you can click here to subscribe and get email newsletter.





There is no other info about this New VAIO.... until 9th January.


Well, this is about Sony, and now, another news on Dell.





adamo~ by Dell. There is so less info about this, but lots of rumors flying around... That this coming laptop, may be both lighter and thinner than the MacBook Air~ and Dell plans to market as the "world's thinnest laptop". Wo ho~

Undiscovered land

Previously i talk about the new google earth 4.3, and now, another news related to this. Google earth is a great product, lots of people using it. And who will know that it lead to a new discoveries~~

This is not joke, some scientists browsing Google earth for a new project and come across this undiscovered green land. According to Gizmodo...

Julian Bayliss was looking around Google Earth for a new conservation project when he came across patches of green in Mozambique that appeared to be previously unexplored. Sure enough, those green patches were '7,000 hectares of forest, rich in biodiversity' that had been left untouched by scientists thanks to minor blips like miserable terrain and constant civil war. An expedition launched in the fall to Mount Mabu discovered three new species of butterflies, a new Gaboon viper than can kill a human in a single bite, along with all kinds of other wildlife, like 200 types of butterflies and tropical plants, all in a matter of weeks.

Wow, this is kinda impressed. I thought technologies nowadays know all the things around us already, well, beside the mysteries deeeeeeep ocean and outer space. Quite hard to believe there is still land that man not set foot on it.


Lets hope scientists can discover more new species and land....using Google earth. hah. I hoping to see fairy and elf you know? hah .
